User Agreement

Tabverse is open source software. This page is the agreement between you and the operator of the sync server you create an account on (the "server operator"). It is not an agreement with the authors of the Tabverse extension, who do not operate your server.

Your account

• You need an account to use a server's console. You create it with an email address you control, and you are responsible for keeping access to that address and to the browsers you sign in from.
• Do not create an account for somebody else, and do not register an address that is not yours.
• The server operator may disable or delete an account. Deleting an account removes the data that account stored on the server.

Your content

• What you sync is yours. The server stores it so your devices can stay in step, and shows it back to you in your console.
• An operator of the server can see the data stored on their own machine; that is what the operator's console is for. The server operator is responsible for saying so in their own privacy notice.
• Do not use the server to store or share content you have no right to.

No warranty

Tabverse and any server are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The authors and the server operator are not liable for lost data or for the service being unavailable. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Changes

The server operator may update this agreement. Continuing to use the server after a change means you accept the new version.
